Pasco County Schools
Empowering Education Through Technology
Across multiple technology roles, I helped support a large 1:1 learning environment, district-wide deployments, training, and repeatable technology processes serving schools, employees, and students.
The Situation
Supporting technology across a large school district meant working at a scale where small inconsistencies could quickly become larger operational problems. Devices had to be deployed and supported across schools, users needed clear processes and dependable assistance, and recurring initiatives required systems that could be repeated rather than rebuilt each time.
What I Did
Over nearly six years with Pasco County Schools, my responsibilities expanded from information and technical support into technology project management. I supported an environment serving more than 12,000 users and helped coordinate deployment support involving more than 9,000 systems.
The work included troubleshooting, device deployments, documentation, training, process development, coordination across teams, and helping turn recurring technology needs into repeatable procedures. I developed standard operating procedures and trained new team members so knowledge could be shared rather than remain dependent on one person.
Selected Work
- Support within a 1:1 learning environment
- Deployment support involving 9,000+ systems
- Technology support serving 12,000+ users
- Standard operating procedures and process documentation
- Training and onboarding for new team members
- Summer School technology deployments
- Hurricane Readiness Cart preparation and support
- Cross-school and district technology coordination
What Changed
The experience taught me that technology at scale depends on more than technical knowledge. It requires clear processes, documentation, communication, training, and an understanding of the people who depend on the system. Creating repeatable procedures and sharing knowledge helped make recurring work easier to execute and less dependent on any one person.
