Remuda Ranch
Connecting Technology, Marketing, and Compassion
Working across Information Technology and Marketing, I helped improve websites, internal communications, digital tools, and user experiences for an organization focused on specialized patient care.
The Situation
Remuda Ranch operated across multiple locations and served patients, families, clinicians, staff, and other stakeholders with very different information and technology needs. Because my role crossed both Information Technology and Marketing, I was able to see how internal systems, external communication, and user experience affected one another.
What I Did
I worked across departments to understand how people were using existing systems and where communication or usability could improve. For the multi-campus intranet redesign, that included stakeholder focus groups and direct user feedback rather than designing from assumptions.
My work also included corporate websites, analytics and trend reporting, interface components for an electronic medical record application, training content, and ongoing technology and marketing support.
Selected Work
- Two corporate websites
- Multi-campus intranet redesign
- Stakeholder focus groups
- Website analytics and trend reporting
- GUI components for an electronic medical record application
- CEU intranet training videos
- Cross-department technology and marketing support
What Changed
The work created more connected digital experiences across internal and external audiences and gave employees a more usable intranet shaped by their own input. Just as important, the experience changed how I thought about technology: the system itself was never the point. The people depending on it were.
